*My new favorite (easy and delicious) way to make chicken and dumplings is this...Put frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crock-pot and cover them with chicken broth. Allow them to cook all day until they are falling apart and easily shredded. About 30 minutes before time to eat mix together 2 cups Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling chicken broth. Reduce heat; cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover; cook 10 minutes longer. Makes 10 dumplings. Super yummy!
That is how I make mine and it is awesome. I also add to my chicken broth right before I drop the bisquick in, a half of stick of butter, some milk, salt and pepper. It is so yummy!!! Great minds think alike!!!! :))
