Stop to Smell the Christmas Tree

You've probably seen this on Pinterest.  My girls and I thought it was a cute idea and since we have the perfect door for it, leading to the garage, we decided to give it a go.

After we finished this project we colored pictures in Christmas coloring books while listening to Christmas music.  Even though I had much work to do it was better that I stop and play.  The girls even helped me wrap 12 teacher gifts, which was great!  It's super important for mamas to slow down a bit during this extra busy time of year.  Don't be in too much of a hurry, dear mom.  Take time to stop and smell the Christmas tree.

  2. I surprised my children with a snowman fridge a few years ago. So much fun! Yours is cute on the door. I may do that this year since we no longer have a white fridge.

    1. I love doing stuff like that, Stephenie. It is especially fun to surprise the kids. I bet they loved it! I try to leave my snowmen up after the Christmas decorations come down so that we can enjoy them during January and February but sometimes it gets too warm and they seem out of place. (I wish we would get some snow, even if it were just a little.)
      Happy New Year!
