Menu Plan March 4th - March 10th

Monday - Sub sandwiches, raw veggies and dip

Tuesday - Saucy Penne and Three Cheese Bake, garlic bread

Wednesday - Crock-pot Mac & Cheese, salad

Thursday - Crock-Pot Beef and Broccoli, rice

Friday - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans

Saturday - Chicken and Dumplings*, carrots

Sunday - Baked potato bar  (Remember, on Sunday we will be springing forward!)

*My new favorite (easy and delicious) way to make chicken and dumplings is this...Put frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crock-pot and cover them with chicken broth.  Allow them to cook all day until they are falling apart and easily shredded.  About 30 minutes before time to eat mix together 2 cups Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk until soft dough forms.  Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling chicken broth.  Reduce heat; cook uncovered for 10 minutes.  Cover; cook 10 minutes longer.  Makes 10 dumplings.  Super yummy!

  1. That is how I make mine and it is awesome. I also add to my chicken broth right before I drop the bisquick in, a half of stick of butter, some milk, salt and pepper. It is so yummy!!! Great minds think alike!!!! :))
