Clean Before Spring #5

Remember I said we would be taking it up a notch?

Today we are going to clean the refrigerator.  The feeling you'll have when this job is finished is very rewarding.  You will be glad you did it.

Start by throwing out.  Throw away old food, leftovers no one is going to eat, expired condiments, limp vegetables, science projects, etc.  Wipe out the shelves and bins.  You may want to use the attachment on your vacuum cleaner first.  If there are any spills, slide the shelf or drawer out and let it soak in hot soapy water.  Organize and group like things together.  Use an opened box of baking soda to help your fridge stay fresh.  Next, clean up the outside.  Take off all the magnets, pictures, artwork, etc.  Wipe off the top, the doors, the handles.  Consider not putting back all of the things you took off.  The kitchen looks cleaner when there is less on the refrigerator.

A little bit done every day, our spring cleaning is under way!

  1. Aha! I actually already have this one done - and do it every two weeks. Yay! Now maybe I can catch up on my other days assignments:) Maybe even that nasty oven.
