Depend on Christ alone for salvation and sanctification and depend on His word for the strength and wisdom required for marriage and motherhood.
I wish I could remember where I read or heard these words. It could be a number of places and I honestly don't remember. What I do know is that I've had them written on a little (now crumpled) piece of paper that I have carried around for some time.
As I've been doing this dance with depression I have returned to these words on crumpled paper over and over.
Christ. His word.
{And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:10}
I keep things like that written down too and eventually I can't even read what they say. I so enjoyed finally getting to "meet" last night although it just seemed like we had been friends for years. Sammy has enjoyed getting to know your boys this year and I look forward to a new friendship also. Looking forward to visiting again! Missy
