Mtn Dew Pound Cake

Here is the first of the Road Trip Recipes.  While visiting my grandparents, a family friend brought us a Mtn Dew Pound Cake.  I was prepared not to like it.  Boy was I wrong!  This cake is so moist and delicious and is honestly one of the best cakes I have ever tasted!  As soon as we got home I had to bake one.




  • 1 box Lemon cake mix
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 oz can Mtn Dew (diet or regular)

Mix ingredients together and pour into a greased tube pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.  Freezes well.
