Taco Ring

1/2 pound ground beef, cooked and drained.

1 package (1.25 ounces) taco seasoning mix

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons water

2 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 medium green bell pepper (optional)

1/2 head lettuce

1 medium tomato

1 small onion

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1 cup salsa

Sour cream

Preheat oven to 375.  Combine meat, seasoning mix, cheese and water in bowl.  Arrange crescent triangles around baking pan with bases overlapping in center and points to outside.

Spoon ( I use my cookie dough scoop) meat mixture over rolls.

So sorry about the poor quality of this picture!

Fold points of triangles over filing and tuck under base at center (filling will not be completely covered).

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.  Chop tomato and onion.  Shred lettuce.

I like to mound the tomato, onion, lettuce, and olives in the center of the pan

and use my accent decorator to garnish with sour cream.

My family loves when I make this for dinner.  So yummy!

    1. The recipe only calls for 1/2 lb ground beef but since I usually double or triple this I use a pound or more. I made the one you see in the pictures on a large cookie sheet but if you follow the recipe ingredients exactly you will only need a round 13 inch pan. I hope that helps. :)

    1. Yes, I love Pampered Chef!! I think I was introduced to this recipe almost 20 years ago at a Pampered Chef party. I've tasted a lot of their recipes over the years and I've never had anything I didn't like.
